Optimist
A traditional training boat for children 7-13 years old.
(Currently utilising waterwise boats with Whangarei Cruising Club rigs)
Feva
A very versatile boat for two handed sailing, good for coaching one on one in the boat with one student and one coach. Can take people from beginner to advanced technical skills (spinnaker use) and racing.

Thanks to the Southern Trust we have purchased 1 Feva.
We are currently raising funds for another 5 boats.
Omega
A useful boat for teaching 4-5 children or 3-4 adults. These boats are good for large numbers of children accompanied by a coach and also suitable for taking people from beginner to advanced technical skills (spinnaker use) and racing.

We currently have 2 boats on loan from Yachting NZ and we are raising funds for 2 boats this year.
420 Class
A high performance 2 handed boat, used for training more advanced sailors and team sailing.
We currently have 6 x 420's available for use.
RS QUEST
We have 1 RS Quest thanks to the Whangarei marina Trust and Foundation North funding.
The RS Quest is a great training boat and is great for adults or lager children.
