PLEASE NOTE

One issue is with damage to the boats and equipment.

  • Rule 14 of the yacht racing rules states that contact between boats must be avoided.
  • Rule 15 states that when a boat is acquiring right of way, they must give other boats room to keep clear. These rules pertain to fleet sailing as well as team sailing.
  • Wear and tear / damage must be reported to the coach and / or the shore base after each session. This will help to enable all the boats to be available to use at each training. And that the boats be put away after each session in good order.
