STARTING Monday 6th / Tuesday 7th October 2025 

This course is suitable for 8-13 year old's who have completed the equivalent of 2 terms of our Start Sailing course and based around the YNZ Level 2 Sail Faster course. Building on the foundations of the Start Sailing course this program gives the children the opportunity to try different aspects of sailing: from racing and asymmetric spinnakers to destination sailing, man overboard drills and games. In Fevas, Quests, Opti’s and Bics (for club members) in a group of up to 10 with an instructor.

WHAT TO BRING

 Togs & Towel

​Waterproof jacket and clothes that can get wet

​Water bottle, Sunscreen & Hat

​Wetsuit (if you have one)

​Beach /wet shoes to wear in the boat ( old trainers are good )

​Warm change of clothes

We provide a helmet and a buoyancy aid but you are welcome to bring your own.

Please Note: If the weather is not good enough for sailing there will be land based learning for the students.

Participants will need to have junior club membership for WCC

 $85 for the year
