STARTING Monday 6th / Tuesday 7th, OCTOBER, 2025 

This course is for 8 - 13 year old's who preferably have had some sailing or Get on Board (Give It a Go) experience.

Based around the YNZ Level 1 Start Sailing and some of the Level 2 Sail Faster courses. This course is for children 8+ who are ready to learn to sail independently as much of the sailing will take place in our single handed Opti boats. Learning rigging, capsize drill and boat handling in a fun environment.

In groups of 6 with an Instructor.

WHEN - Mondays 4-6 or Tuesdays OR Thursdays 4- 6 pm

WHERE - Parua Bay, Whangarei Heads

COST $225 FOR 8 WEEKS

WHAT TO BRING

Togs & towel

Waterproof Jacket and clothes that can get wet

Water bottle, Sunscreen & Hat 

Wetsuit (if you have one) 

Beach /wet shoes to wear (old trainers are good)

Warm change of clothes 

Please Note: If the weather is not good enough for sailing there will be land based learning for the students.
