Our dedicated team of experienced volunteers and instructors are committed to sharing their love for the sea with you. With a rich history of promoting sailing in the Northland region, we offer top-notch qualifications and training programs for sailors of all levels. Join us on the water and let's set sail together!

We are a charitable trust set up to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in the sport of sailing. SNCT has a professional structure and sustainable future for sail training, coaching and pathway to careers in the sport.

Learning to sail includes learning important life skills. Perseverance, confidence, enthusiasm, self-reliance, discipline and team work, all of which are woven into the sport of sailing. Combined, these skills enable people to be successful and valuable members of our community and workforce.
